Session Title: Large Events, Small Municipalities - How to Balance Facilitating both Internal and External Events
The Town of LaSalle is a Municipality of just under 33,000 residents. The Town organizes 10 signature and middle-tier events. In 2024, we hosted and implemented a 10-week exhibit. In addition to this, our Municipality hosts Further, we support third-party rentals, events and tournaments hosted on our Municipal properties. All of these events are completely supported by Town Staff with the absence of a BIA, or Tourism Department. I hope to share some of our processes, policies, and operations in place to help similar Muncipalities grow and develop their Events.
