Session Title: Drone Light Shows: The Environmentally Friendly Alternative.

Drone light shows are an innovative, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireworks, ideal for municipal celebrations. Using fleets of GPS-guided LED drones, they can create customizable animations, logos, and storytelling sequences in the night sky. They offer advantages such as reduced fire risk, low noise, strong sponsorship potential, and memorable community engagement. With proper planning and permitting, drone shows can transform festivals, anniversaries, and Canada Day events into unforgettable experiences.

Outcomes:

By the end of the session, municipal representatives will understand what drone light shows are, how they can enhance community events, and the key factors to consider when planning one. They will gain practical knowledge on budgeting, permitting, timelines, and creative possibilities. Participants will leave equipped to evaluate whether a drone show fits their future celebrations and how to take the first steps toward making it happen.
