Session Title: No Surprises: The Role of Communication in Managing Major Events.

Behind every successful large-scale event is a foundation built on strong project management, effective partnerships, and seamless collaboration all fueled by the power of communication. In major events, assumptions can derail timelines and details can slip through the cracks; over-communicating ensures alignment, clarity, and confidence at every stage.

Drawing on the experience of Connect Dot Management in delivering some of Ontario’s major events, this session will explore the strategies that turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Outcomes:

Attendees will gain insights into:

1) Structuring projects to stay on time and on budget.
2) Building and sustaining partnerships with clients, venues, and vendors.
3) Leveraging over-communication to keep diverse stakeholders aligned and avoid last-minute surprises.
4) Creating collaborative systems that empower teams and streamline execution.

Whether you’re an event professional, project manager, or organizational leader, this talk will provide practical tools and real-world lessons on navigating challenges, aligning stakeholders, and achieving impact through communication and collaboration.
